Get the whole family together!


Multi-generational family shoots are a particular favorite of mine. Getting the grandparents and siblings with their respective families together for annual photos is a great tradition! Siblings and cousins and parents and grandparents all mixed together in different combinations make for memorable moments. In a typical multi-generational shoot, we will manage to squeeze in all the posed shots and had time for some candid fun too!


When you are thinking about a multi-generational shoot, your location choice is very important. You want to find a location that has enough space for your biggest family portrait. You also need to consider any mobility issues or other constraints on location to ensure it works for all the members of your party. As a local photographer, I have lots of 'favorite' locations for family photos and am familiar with their terrain and possible limitations. It is important to work with a professional who knows how to seamlessly move your family through your various groupings as well. I am also happy to chat to suggest locations and options that are right for your group.
