The most wonderful time of year...


September is my favorite month of the year. It straddles summer and autumn in the most beautiful way. The humidity and high temperatures of August start to ease but it's still warm enough that you can wear your flip flops and flowy dresses. You can still sneak in a beach day or two but you can also bust out your hoodie in the evenings.


It is also a month of great change in the landscape. At the start of September, the landscape is lush and green and filled with flowers. As we approach the end of the month, the landscape sees more subtle green and browns and the leaves slowly start turning into their autumnal colors. Depending on which backdrop/color scheme you favor should determine when you book your portrait sessions- early or later September.


As we officially turned the calendar page today to October, lets take a moment and admire some of the family portraits that I had the pleasure of capturing this September. It was an incredibly busy season with families, high school seniors and even some football team, cheer and school photos. I have traversed Massachusetts for sessions- Boston, Sudbury, Lincoln, Concord, Bolton, Grafton, Gloucester and more. Phew! Lucky me that I have a job that I love so much and an amazing support system to keep my home running.
