Family photos in a snowy landscape...


Winter in New England is cozy season. Reimagine your usual summer or fall family photos and add in winter photos this season. Winter is a beautiful time in New England when there is snow on the ground. For your family portraits, you can go winter chic- cozy sweaters, fur and textures in blankets. On the other hand, you can also go sporty for winter photos. Does your family love alpine or nordic skiing or ice skating? Get ready for some fun photos of your family doing the winter sports you love the most. All those days zipping down the mountains together brings so much joy for a family. The easiest way to get natural smiles is to do what your family loves the most together. Lastly, you can do winter family photos in your home with warm sweaters by the fire or all piled on the couch with blankets and hot cocoa.


Below are some highlights from my 3rd photoshoot with this incredible family and they had a perfect vision for an outdoor winter session. I met them on a chilly day at Old North Bridge in Concord, MA. It was an overcast day with that perfect winter light that photographers dream of. A recent snow storm left a dusting on the ground which frosted the landscape. Throw in a vintage wagon and a Little Tykes holiday mobile and this turned into one of the most magical family photoshoots ever!
