Class of 2027, Senior portrait planning is underway and it's time to get inspired! At Lisa West Photography, we love to use nature as the perfect backdrop to support, but not overshadow, your beautiful Senior Yearbook Photos. In my blog over the next few weeks, I will be highlighting some beautiful backdrop themes from my 2026 seniors including: beach, Boston cityscapes, florals, woods, grassy fields, historic homes & locations and more. In 2026, I had the pleasure of photographing students from Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School, Wayland High School, Weston High School, Concord Carlisle High School, Nashoba Regional High School, Framingham High School, Natick High School and more!


Next up for Senior yearbook photo backdrop inspiration with those long grassy fields. New England is filled with long grassy meadows with stone walls and rustic fences. It is a really soft, beautiful backdrop for your senior portraits. Sitting in the field, leaning on the fence or perched on a stone wall with the long grass around you gives you options and variety for your poses.
